Saturday May 31st marked Brooklyn Amity School’s first school carnival and no one could have asked for a better day! The weather was perfect from start to finish and smiling students flooded the Amity grounds for games, food and competitions. Some of the carnival highlights included a dunk tank, a jump house and inflatable obstacle course! Parents and students were also treated to the delectable and mouthwatering food options provided by the Brooklyn Turkish Cultural Center. As students waited in line to get their face painted or to try their hand at carnival games, they were able to bond and connect with parents, teachers and fellow students from across the grades. Amity seniors worked diligently to provide popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy; all of which were included in the admissions price and could be enjoyed in plenty throughout the day.  Such a warm and friendly environment left everyone longing for more. This may have been Amity’s first carnival, but it will most certainly not be the last! We all look forward to what next year will bring- See you next Spring!
