Middle School Program

Navigating the Path of Middle School (Gr. 6-8) at Brooklyn Amity

Middle School, spanning Grades 6 to 8, marks a significant transition as students embrace their growing independence and cultivate their abilities as critical thinkers and learners. At Brooklyn Amity, our middle school program is thoughtfully designed to empower students to take ownership of their education and equip them with the skills needed to conquer the challenges that lie ahead in high school.

Renowned as a leading private middle school in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Amity School takes immense pride in nurturing individual uniqueness while fostering a sense of community and contribution. The pivotal middle years of education play a defining role in shaping adolescents' identities and futures, and at Brooklyn Amity, we not only provide an exceptional education but also offer valuable counseling sessions to support students' holistic development.

Within our nurturing and conducive learning environment, students are encouraged to explore their hidden talents and passions through innovative programs such as American Sign Language, Computers/Technology, and Spanish. Our curriculum goes beyond academics, striving to unearth each student's potential and interests. As part of their educational journey, middle school students also engage in the New York State Math, ELA, and Science (Grade 8 only) examinations.

Brooklyn Amity is committed to providing the ultimate exposure for middle school students to hone their skills and expand their horizons. Our dedication to realizing every individual's dreams is evident through our support, guidance, and resources. Many of our students embark on preparation for the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT), with numerous success stories of acceptance into specialized public high schools across New York City.

Our after-school enrichment program caters to the diverse interests of middle school students, offering both leisure and competitive activities.

Brooklyn Amity School is more than an educational institution; it's a nurturing community where dreams are transformed into reality through knowledge, support, and empowerment. We invite you to join us on this enriching journey through the middle school years, where every student's potential is celebrated and cultivated.
