New York University Women In Computing (WinC) and Princeton University Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (GWISE) invited young women in several high schools to the annual New York City Girls Computer Science and Engineering Conference. 200 GIRLS, 20 TEACHERS FROM 21 NYC schools participated to the event. Also, there were about 50 volunteers from NYU, Princeton and 20 Googlers. Not only our students won the first place for the spaghetti tower building competition, but also beat the record of NYU with contracting 216 cm spaghetti tower.
