Our 8th graders gave a short lecture to the Elementary students about honesty as a character education lesson. They shared a presentation, performed a little play, handed out candy, and included a fun activity at the end. During the presentation, the kids in the room all actively participated, excited for both the experience, and the candy. After understanding the significance of honesty, they pledged to be honest by dipping their hands in colorful paint, and then leaving their hand marks on a large poster. The blue, red, green, purple and pink marks indicated a promise, and reflected what the kids had learned. We thank the 8th graders for teaching such an important topic to the younger students of our school!
