We are delighted to share the highlights from Brooklyn Amity School's 2024 Middle School Graduation Ceremony, a day filled with pride, joy, and celebration.
The program kicked off with a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for an eventful day. Samay James, an 8th grade student, led us in the National Anthem, showcasing her impressive vocal talent and stirring the hearts of the audience.
The ceremony continued with inspiring speeches from Ms. Elvina, our Vice Principal, and Mr. Walker, our Physical Education Teacher. Their words of wisdom and encouragement resonated with both students and parents, highlighting the significance of this milestone.
One of the memorable moments was when Mr. Ali, our music teacher, performed "What a Beautiful World." The audience joyfully joined in, creating a heartwarming and unified atmosphere. Ahror Begimov also captivated everyone with a beautiful poem reading.
The spotlight then turned to our student speakers. Valedictorian Marjona Islamova delivered a heartfelt speech, reflecting on her journey and the future ahead. Isabella Cohen, the Principal Award Recipient, also shared her thoughts and gratitude, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
In recognition of their hard work, each student received Certificates of Achievement from the Office of the New York State Comptroller. Additionally, students were awarded certificates for their excellence in Writing, Math, Science, Language Arts, Computer Science, and Coding.
Following the awards, the graduates performed the song "See You Again," bringing a touching close to the ceremony. The program concluded with light refreshments and drinks, allowing everyone to mingle and celebrate the achievements of our graduates.
Congratulations to our 2024 middle school graduates! We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing you in our high school program. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
