🎉 Senior Trip Spotlight: A Thrilling Escape from RIKERS, 1932 🧩⏱️

On Friday, April 11, 2025, Brooklyn Amity School seniors embarked on an unforgettable adventure—one that tested their minds, teamwork, and nerves of steel.

Our destination? The heart of Manhattan for an epic escape room experience: RIKERS, 1932.

Set in the eerie halls of a fictional 1932 version of Rikers Island, students were thrown into a high-stakes prison break scenario where every second counted. Trapped behind cold, gray walls, their mission was simple in theory—but intense in execution: escape before the guards catch you.

Armed with determination and teamwork, our seniors navigated through clue-filled rooms, decoded symbols, and unraveled complex puzzles. They successfully made it all the way to the final room—completing nearly 80% of the challenge! Though time ran out before the final escape, the excitement and energy in the room proved that the real win was the experience itself.

From suspenseful moments to creative problem-solving, the escape room brought out their best—quick thinking, collaboration, and resilience.

While they didn’t quite make it out in time, the journey was packed with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. As graduation nears, this thrilling trip added another chapter to their senior year story.

Well done, Class of 2025—you almost broke out of RIKERS! 🎓🔐
